Andrew Mitchell and Natalie Halliday: A Byron Elegy

Embrace Arts BuildingAndrew Mitchell reads his 300 line narrative poem The Burial of Lord Byron, which follows the story of Byron’s funeral. Drawing on contributions from John Cam Hobhouse, John Clare, George Borrow, Mary Shelley, Samuel Coleridge and Lady Caroline Lamb, the poem will be performed to cello accompaniment and concludes with a lament on scottish small pipes.
